cyphy - Cloudy Bluffs: Cicada3301, Rennes Le Chateau & Priory of Sion Connection
3301's Liber Primus holds the same texts found in scrolls at a French Monastery in 1891. It is also tied to strange voicemails allegedly released from flight MH370's black box. [MH370/UAP SERIES]
A TERRIFYING voicemail in military code sent to random Twitter users’ phones has sent the internet into meltdown as users speculate over its links to MH370, alien life and an impending Doomsday date.
It appears to have started with Ty, an ordinary Twitter user with no apparent prior interest in any of those topics or the conspiracy theories that inevitably accompany any discussion of them.
On March 13, Ty posted a recording of a creepy voicemail message he received on his mobile phone and asked for help translating it.
Since then it has received more than seven million views and hatched a dozen conspiracy theories, earning Ty more than 40,000 extra followers and forcing him to temporarily deactivate his account (he was getting death threats and homophobic taunts) and change his handle.
The bizarre voicemail features a robotic voice droning out an automated message entirely in NATO phonetic alphabet. Deciphered, it reads:
“S Danger SOS it is dire for you to evacuate be caution they are not human 042933964230 SOS Danger SOS.”
Ty also posted unsettling direct messages he had been receiving on his Twitter account, one in Indonesian, another in Malay, a couple in Morse code and one which appeared to be five groupings of numbers: “20.8.5.25 1.18.5 20.1.11.9.14.7 15.22.5.18 41818”.
The Indonesian message, when run through Google translate, turned out to be this warning: “End the post you just shared about the recording in your phone.”
Several users translated the number sequences and Morse code to read: “They are taking over.”
A Twitter account called 914, run by someone with the handle @LunarrRabbits, has a pinned tweet dated March 17 which suggests that apocalypse might be the case.
It reads: “This Event is no where related to catastrophic events, 18 April is definitely safe, all other accounts are impersonating, reason to hold this event is to help people solve an upcoming global cicada event, reason to hold this event is to aware people with knowledge.”
It is likely this voicemail is a hoax, the numbers repeated can be easily copied with Siri, and using “nine” for “niner” in the NATO phonetic alphabet is technically incorrect through a relay designed for accuracy, another QR code in one other Cicada profile led to two Youtube accounts by names of County Bluffs/ Killswitch Proxy, a topic for another Cyphy edition. It also showed an infrared adjusted photo of a signature of a plane with two orbs circling it, as seen in recently released videos. One of the accounts was named Cicada370.
One part of the story that might be real are the text messages in morse code sent from a Malaysian phone number, that led to threats and physical harassment in Indonesian towards original poster of the Voicemail, “Ty”. He also posted photos of an unmarked van outside his house multiple days in a row.
Even though this doomsday date has come and gone and the voicemail is likely a scam, the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 is re-emerging in the minds of online sleuths and those that don’t accept the premise that things “just vanish”. The intriguing events surrounding this disappearance don’t seem to stop. In this multi-part weekend series, we are going to dissect the true premise of the disappearance of this flight, and a look at certain actors involved considered to have “bad motives” by the most, and least credentialed circles. (For the lulz, if no less).
This topic is going to allow InfiniteEyes to finally approach the “UAP” question with enough credible analysis and evidence to make a reasonable hypothesis. (Spoiler: it’s not “extraterrestrial”…at least 90% of the time, at least at this moment).
We are going to be covering a lot of ground. (For self-education, YouTuber LEMMiNO has created well-made videos on both Cicada3301 and MH370 topics with the most sober and objective analysis discovered to date, without the black box voicemail). Since “Ty” first received his voicemail, Cicada-themed users (potential members) have posted cryptographic messages related to the flight’s disappearance as well.
Before digging any deeper, many new readers are probably begging for some background. Before digging into this flight (next week’s CyPhy will contain this investigation), this Sunday will be spent exploring the esoteric cryptographic puzzle and society of Cicada3301 (eluded to in previous CyPhy editions), its decoded texts, and its direct reflections to manuscripts found in 1891 at a monastery run by the Priory of Sion society, with mythology tied to the Knights Templar. Parse fact from fiction for yourself, as I myself as the author, am still doing the same. I am simply a conduit of the information.
What Cicada became and originated as are very different things. Although you will come to see the mystery of Cicada as mostly solved, its original purpose is yet to be fully understood. What surrounds the evolution of Cicada3301 is a web of impersonating ties to the Golden State Killer, the CIA, and potentially even murder. Again, much of this will read like Dan Brown, with a direct dissection of true events. Its connections to the CIA will lead us to the the disappearance of flight MH370 and the patents of Freescale Semiconductors, initiating another story of international espionage and advanced technology.
Cicada 3301 & Liber Primus
On January 4th, 2012, a mysterious message was posted to a 4Chan forum calling for “highly intelligent individuals” to solve a complex series of cryptogram puzzles.
Cicada 3301 has often been referred to as “the most elaborate and mysterious puzzle of the internet age” and has been listed as one of the “top 5 eeriest, unsolved mysteries of the internet” by The Washington Post.
Part of the Internet’s obsession with Cicada 3301 comes from its massive scale.

For digression’s sake, we are going to focus specifically on the final Liber Primus clue (barely still left unsolved), that appeared in 2016 after the puzzle had apparently been solved.
This clue raises the question of potential imposters or actors that wish to leverage the infamy of an encoded text, although the path through its decryption has been fascinating. One of these “imposters” (or the original Cicada) could be the Priory of Sion.
In 2016, after the first Cicada puzzle had been solved, Cicada released a book written in ancient Nordic and Germanic rune and encrypted, of which pages are publicly known to be unsolved. However, this may no longer be the case. to get an idea of what the book contains, this is the transcription of the first few pages:

Rennes le Chateau & Priory of Zion
The solved pages of Liber Primus, are taken directly from the teachings of "Cercle Sigebert IV", which is the educational course new initiates must pass to join Prieure de Sion.
One potential reason for Cicada 3301's puzzles was because Prieure de Sion had been searching for decades for a cryptographer to decipher the sacred runic parchments unearthed from a crypt at the Rennes Le Chateau church in France. The parchments were successfully deciphered last year by Mariano Tomatis from the Mathematical Forecasting Initiative, hence the reason why we have not heard from Cicada 3301. The key word that was found on a grave stone at the church, which led to the discovery of the sacred parchments, is also the key to deciphering the remaining pages of Liber Primus. This keyword is "MORTEPEE" (Death Sword).
The same Vigenere cipher used to decode the parchments of Rennes Le Chateau were used to decipher pages of the Liber Primus using this key word, once translated from ancient Norse and Germanic Rune.
The Priory of Sion is a fraternal organization, founded and dissolved in France in 1956 by Pierre Plantard. In the 1960s, Plantard created a fictitious history for that organization, describing it as a secret society founded in the Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1099, which serves the interests of the Merovingian dynasty and its alleged bloodlines.
To give credibility to the fabricated lineage and pedigree, Plantard and his friend, Philippe de Chérisey, needed to create "independent evidence". So during the 1960s, they created and deposited a series of false documents, the so-called Dossiers Secrets d'Henri Lobineau ("Secret Files of Henri Lobineau"), at the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris. During the same decade, Plantard commissioned de Chérisey to forge two medieval parchments, which contained encrypted messages that referred to the Priory of Sion. They adapted, and used to their advantage, the earlier claims that a Catholic priest named Bérenger Saunière had supposedly discovered ancient parchments inside a pillar while renovating his church in Rennes-le-Château in 1891. Inspired by the popularity of media reports and books in France about the discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls in the West Bank, they hoped this same theme would attract attention to their parchments. Their version of the parchments was intended to prove Plantard's claims about the Priory of Sion being a medieval society that was the source of the "underground stream" of esotericism in Europe.
It’s difficult to decipher what actually happened when Saunière began the renovations, as the sources are a little murky. Some sources claim that the priest found ancient parchments, another says he found gold coins. What we know for certain is that he found the Knight’s Stone, known in French as the Dalle des Chevaliers.
The Knight’s Stone was a medieval carving depicting what seems to be a knight or a hunt. The stone is said to have originally been the cover stone of the crypt which lies beneath the church. Saunière allegedly found the stone lying face down and enlisted the help of two local workmen, Adrien Marre and Fèliciean Marceau, to lift it.
Legend has it that the priest found a small hole underneath the stone in which was located a small pot which contained some gold coins, a Visigoth (ancient German people operating during the Roman period) necklace and a gold chalice from around the 13th century. Apparently Saunière told the workmen that he had stumbled upon worthless medallions and then sent them away. Ironically, he did not realize the importance of the stone itself as he used it as a stepping stone for the Calvaire where it was later re-discovered in the 1920s.The parchments have only recently been fully decoded in the past couple of years. Beyond the Viginere cipher and intersecting literature, Youtube video"deprogramming 2018" video reflected Cicada 3301 symbolism. Significant evidenciary consistencies were found with a video posted by Prieure de Sion, titled "Gazette de Rennes le Chateau". These include; a fire triangle representative of a location, a Merovingian king in a red robe, a spinning globe, and Cercle Sigebert IV symbol.
These connections between Priory of Sion and Cicada are too interesting not to be explored.
Rennes le Chateau also holds a center-piece statue of the Devil, and the decoded parchments indicate the idea the tombs of Jesus and Mary Magdalene are buried on its ground, moved from Jerusalem from Priory of Sion in 1099 (unproven). Credit for the Monument Age of the Crusades is lore any Assassin’s Creed type of brotherhood hopes to achieve. Lore surrounding artifacts of power have led the curious and power-hungry down many lost paths throughout history, weaving the mythical with the physical. The lore surrounding these lost artifacts and secret societies is of plenty, perhaps someday the story of the Green Stone can be retold here. Netflix’s recent “All the Light We Cannot See” depicts the Nazi hunt for a blood-dipped diamond called Sea of Flames, rumoured to be cursed. These artifacts were an occult obsession to the Thule, Vril societies and the Nazis.
Such as the history of this secret society is sparse and manipulatable, such is the current nature of Cicada 3301’s history. Whether or not the group focused on open software and privacy are the same individuals behind the Liber Primus is yet to be determined.
What is true though, is the existence of this church, these current societies, the parchments, the Liber Primus and the endless pursuit of knowledge.
Just as the history of this society in connection to Templars is potential “mythology”, so is the idea of “extraterrestrials”. Exploring the connection of Twitter account Cicada370 posting its picture of the flight with suspected UAP’s, all of the hype in Congressional hearings and released DoD footage, the era of Coast to Coast, the space race, Alien Vs. Predator, War of the Worlds, it seems to be clear that extraterrestrial life is the mythology of our time. Reports of alien abductions spiked after Roswell and the Betty and Barney Hill case. The psychedelics movement birthed “post-modernity” and new age thinking, along with new age cults. Black budget programs emerged, and the rest is history.
To understand the alien phenomena, one must approach our intelligence and military apparatus with the following assumptions:
These agencies consist of humans. As all humans, these humans contain bias. Despite best efforts, this bias creeps into different agendas. The New York Post recently reported on a group of generals that are holding back UAP disclosure due to the idea that “aliens are demons”. Just as we live in a “left-right” political paradigm, so do soldiers, so do research scientists, so do generals. These bias affect foreign policy in the aspects of dealing with Israel and the Middle East, China, Europe, South America. Democrat agendas may be more amiable to South American socialists, Islamic radicals, trade with China while Republican agendas favor Israel, sanction Socialists, and nationalize trade. Domestically, we have seen politically motivated targeting of Catholics, nationalists, sovereign individuals on one side and targeting of anti-police, anti-racist figures on the other (to a lesser extent, perhaps). The individuals that are our soldiers and spies attend our churches, watch our news, go to our schools (mostly). Just like the birth of psychedelics, Eastern mysticism in the West, The Grateful Dead, contemporary art, the UAP agenda can be tied to the “Liberal/Left CIA”.
Are aliens real? I haven’t seen enough to say, I have questions regarding ancient aliens as well. Are they leveraged for bottomless black budgets, the splintering of perception and reality, and the leverage of secrecy and control? Absolutely. Stay tuned for future reasons of CyPhy to find out why, or otherwise discover when I, as a relentlessly curious and unattached observer these theories may discover all of these theories could be real. Besides MH370, we are going to dissect Majestic 12, the Roswell incident, the Nazi Bell, Nikola Tesla, the Secret Space Program, Steven Greer, and a cult of National Security trolls on the way.
I hope you join me and boost InfiniteEyes on the way.
I am but a simple seeker.
